Lawmakers continue to encourage early voting
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local lawmakers continue to encourage voters to cast their ballots early.
Early voting in Clark County began Saturday, Oct. 20.
A rally was held Sunday at Edmond Town Center on West Owens.
Congressman John Lewis, Congresswoman Shelley Berkley and several others attended the event, including actress Lynn Whitfield. She is a strong supporter of the early voting process.
"The earlier you vote, the better it is. Let your vote be counted, get out of the way of all the hubbub and it'll be done," said Whitfield.
On the first day of early voting, thousands of people voted around town. More than 33,000 voters in Clark County cast their ballots Saturday.
If you want to vote early, there are 88 voting locations around the Valley. CLICK HERE for a full list.
