Cyclist dies on northwest road
Las Vegas, NV (KNTV) -- A cyclist fell over while riding on a northwest road Sunday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating the incident that occurred on South Cimarron Road, just south of Festivity Circle, near West Charleston Boulevard., at around 10:18 a.m.
Offiicals say the 59-year-old man was traveling north on Cimarron in the bike lane when he fell on his right side and slid.
Responding medical personnel pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene.
Police say that preliminary information indicates that the cyclist may have had a medical episode prior to the fall.
