Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car at North Las Vegas Boulevard and East Mesquite Avenue.
The accident occurred at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.
Las Vegas Metro Police believe the 50-year-old man was intoxicated when he attempted to cross Las Vegas Boulevard.
Officials also said the man was not in a marked crosswalk and it appears he came out of the bushes of a median at the location, stepping out onto the street.
