Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A celebration was held Saturday at a local park.
A grand opening and dedication of a 20-acre expansion project, at Lone Mountain Regional Park was held in the morning.
The park is located in the northwest Valley near Grand Canyon Drive.
It spans more than 375 acres and includes the Lone Mountain Summit, a popular hiking spot in the Valley.
This expansion project doubles the amount of acres of the park from 23 to 45.
