Children's hospital reunites patients with staff who cared for them
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local children's hospital held a reunion Saturday for past patients and their staff.
Sunrise Children's Hospital hosted the day for past neo-natal ICU patients.
Kids participated in fire truck tours, teddy bear clinics, cookie decorating and more. They were also encouraged to put on their Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating.
Parents told Action News the event meant a lot to them.
"We spent a lot of time here, so I like that they can see how good the children are doing after leaving the hospital," said Carrie Peters, parent of a patient.
