Golden Valley man arrested for shooting of his neighbor
Golden Valley, AZ (KTNV) -- A 60-year-old man from Golden Valley, located near Kingman, Ariz., has been arrested for first-degree murder.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting at about 6 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 3700 block of Elgin Road.
The reporting person said that he believed his neighbor shot his friend.
Upon arrival, 55-year-old Steven Jeffery Schwartz of Golden Valley was found lying on his side in the driveway.
Schwartz told the deputies that his neighbor Phil shot him.
Deputies contact Phillip J. Martin and detained him.
A shotgun was confiscated at the scene.
Schwartz was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center where he later died.
Martin was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
The case is still under investigation.
