Driver charged in fatal auto-pedestrian crash
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The driver in a crash that left a pedestrian dead Wednesday night is now facing charges.
Police said Roland Biscailuz was driving on Flamingo near Jones when he struck a pedestrian jaywalking across the street.
Biscailuz initially left the scene before returning, according to police.
Investigators said the pedestrian, a 50-year-old man, was declared dead at University Medical Center.
Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash.
Biscailuz was arrested and charged with one count of felony hit and run resulting in death and drunken driving.
