California man found dead outside Las Vegas hospital
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified a California man who was found dead outside University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Clark County coroner's officials say 43-year-old Jason King Forrester of Irvine, Calif. was found Wednesday morning outside the hospital. They haven't released a cause or manner of death.
Police say they got reports of an unresponsive person about 6:30 a.m. Authorities say the man was pronounced dead by medical personnel as officers arrived.
UMC spokeswoman Danita Cohen says the hospital is conducting an investigation along with police and the coroner's office.
She says the hospital isn't yet releasing information on whether the man was a patient because of privacy laws.
