Woman shot at motel on Boulder Highway
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman was shot in the arm at a motel on Boulder Highway near Flamingo on Wednesday evening.
Police say the incident happened at about 7:40 p.m. at The Suites.
A security guard heard gunshots and went to see what was happening. He told police he saw a woman with a gunshot wound and a man holding a gun.
The security guard fired at the gunman, but he was able to escape.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center to be treated for her gunshot wound. She is expected to recover.
Detectives were called to the scene to sort out what happened.
The gunman remains at large.
