Nevada AG, Facebook, hold forum on cyber safety
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and representatives of the online social networking site Facebook are hosting in interactive town hall forum on Internet safety.
Wednesday's event at Green Valley High School will focus on how to report, prevent and diffuse instances of bullying, cyber predators and sexting. Participants will also learn how to manage Facebook privacy settings and age restrictions, and how to use those tools for better online protection.
The forum will be streamed live on the Internet by VegasPBS. A video of the presentation will remain available online.
Wednesday's town hall and interactive discussion takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
