County commissioners ban dangerous objects used by street performers
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- County commissioners are banning "dangerous objects" used by many of the street performers on the Las Vegas Strip.
The ban will not allow any performers to use items that may be tripping hazards or pose other danger to pedestrians along Las Vegas Boulevard.
Those items include sharp objects, electrical cords, toy guns, blades longer than 3 inches, skateboards, roller blades and electrical generators.
The ban also puts an end to jugglers or anyone who uses fire to wow tourists.
The ban starts in two weeks. It extends from Sahara Avenue to Russell Road. Violators will be fined.
