Clark County inmate dies at hospital
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An inmate at the Clark County Detention Center died Sunday at University Medical Center.
Metro Police said 26-year-old Rammale Peterson was found unresponsive in his cell by a corrections officer just after 1 a.m.
Medical help was called and Peterson was rushed to UMC for treatment, where he was pronounced dead soon after.
Police say Peterson's death appears to be "medical in nature." The Clark County Coroner's office will determine his exact cause and manner of death.
Authorities are continuing to investigate.
