Gordon M. McCaw Elementary gets $2,500 check
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local elementary school is benefiting from a few extra dollars and it's all thanks to Winder Farms, Harrah's and comedy magician Mac King.
The Delivering Magic Book Drive and contest help in September gave book donors the opportunity to direct money to the public elementary school of their choice.
This year, the winner chose Gordon M. McCaw Elementary School in Henderson to receive a check for $2,500. After the presentation Tuesday, Mac King stuck around to perform a few tricks, read a few stories and gave out the daily snack.
