Las Vegas hoarder appears in court
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The man at the center of the worst case of hoarding Las Vegas has ever seen made his first court appearance Monday morning.
A judge set Kenneth Epstein's bail at $15,000.
Epstein was arrested last week on several misdemeanor charges stemming from the hoarding at his Sun City Summerlin home.
Crews cleaning the home found cats dead and alive, fecal matter, rodents and thousands of tons of belongings filling the residence.
If Epstein makes bail, he will be required to live with at least one family member as his case continues.
Epstein is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for a mental health hearing.
