Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- State democratic leaders took part in an early voting event Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas.
Sunday marks just six days to the beginning of early voting in Nevada. It begins Oct. 20.
Volunteers joined several lawmakers, including Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, to get the word out on early voting.
"The election is 23 days away and people can actually start voting early on Oct. 20, so it's right around the corner. It's very important that everybody that's eligible to vote, get out and exercise their right as an American citizen," said Rep. Berkley.
