75-year-old woman hit by vehicle in downtown Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was called to a crash involving a pedestrian Saturday morning.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Bridger Avenue.
Metro said 75-year-old Constance Corrigan of Las Vegas was hit by a car and transported to UMC with life-threatening injuries. She was listed in critical condition.
Investigators determined Corrigan was crossing inside of a marked crosswalk.
The driver of the car, 39-year-old Francisco Vega of California, remained at the scene. He was headed downtown for a car show.
Metro wants to remind everyone to drive safe this weekend and watch for pedestrians, as several events are going on downtown.
