Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Details have been announced for the vice president's visit to Las Vegas next week.

Vice President Joe Biden will speak at a grassroots event at 11 a.m. on Oct. 16 at the The Events Center at the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, 710 W. Lake Mead Boulevard.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 at the following locations:
