Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The rain didn't come down as hard as last month, but residents near Sahara and Sloan were nervous during Thursday's storm.
"I was thinking déjà vu," said John Weeks, whose house was destroyed by floodwaters in September.
It's exactly one month, right down to the day, since flooding last damaged several homes near Desert Rose Golf Course.
Residents think there is a problem with the channel system across Clark County.
"If we have rain in the west side of town, it'll come through here even if we don't have rain," said resident Joe Schriner. "I don't think there's sufficient flood control where the water can run off. It comes right through the golf course here and we have to put up with it."
"All the water ends up over here," said James Comanche, whose home backs up to the golf course.
Comanche says the channel isn't finished.
"If this part was finished we wouldn't be having all of this," he said.
Now, residents are left with more cleaning up to do, just as they were finishing cleaning up from last month's storms.
