Husband arrested for involvement in Summerlin woman's death
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has arrested two people in connection with the beating death of 46-year-old Shauna Tiaffay in her home.
It happened Sept. 29 in the 2600 block of South Pavilion Center, near Sahara Avenue and the 215.
Investigators have identified them as her husband, 40-year-old George Tiaffay, and 37-year-old Noel Stevens.
Metro said they received a call from George Tiaffay around 9:15 a.m. reporting he had discovered his wife dead in their apartment.
Evidence showed the death was not natural and homicide detectives were called to the scene.
Both suspects face numerous charges including murder with a deadly weapon and robbery with a deadly weapon.
Prior to Wednesday's arrest for this case, Stevens had past arrests on the following charges: Possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of burglary tools, burglary, robbery and battery.
