Blue Man Group jumps into new home
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Blue Man Group will perform its first show Wednesday, Oct. 10, at its new home, the Monte Carlo Hotel-Casino, and they planned a special event to celebrate.
BMG teamed up with Red Bull and skydived into their new home around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Members of BMG were trained by the Red Bull Air Force. They leaped from 7,000 feet above the property.
After they landed, BMG headed inside the Monte Carlo for a brief ceremony.
They were joined by founders Chris Wink and Phil Stanton, Monte Carlo General manager Patrick Miller, chair of the LVCVA's Host Committee Oscar Goodman and emcee Cadillac Jack of KCYE 102.7.
The first show at the Monte Carlo will begin at 7 p.m. Before moving to the Monte Carlo, BMG spent several years at The Venetian and prior to that, they had a successful run at the Luxor.
