Teen pop star brings anti-bullying message to local school
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Students at Victoria Fertitta Middle School in Las Vegas got a special treat on Monday and learned an important lesson in the process.
Teen pop star Ryan Beatty performed during student assemblies that focused on the subject of bullying.
Along with singing four songs for the students, Beatty also emphasized the importance of the anti-bullying message.
Beatty said that he witnessed bullying as he was growing up and had been bullied himself.
He also said that it felt great to be able to help out by spreading the anti-bullying message.
The assemblies were hosted by radio KLUC-FM 98.5.
