Former firefighter sentenced to probation for stealing
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A former Clark County firefighter accused of ripping off his fellow firefighters was in court on Monday.
John Brush confessed that he called in bogus emergencies to lure firefighters out of their fire stations.
He would then go in and take their food money.
A judge sentenced him to 5 years of probation and ordered him to pay restitution for the amount that he stole.
If he complies, he will not have serve any of the 18 to 24 months that he could have been sentenced for his conviction of the crimes.
