6-year-old boy in critical condition after being hit by vehicle
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 6-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at an apartment complex on the 6300 block of Lake Mead Boulevard, near Torrey Pines Drive.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the boy was playing with a group of kids, when his bike hit a moving vehicle, and he fell underneath it.
The boy was taken to UMC Trauma where he underwent surgery.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident.
