Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – A man was shot around 1 p.m. on Demetrius Avenue near Eastern and Owens Avenues.
The owners of a home, near where the shooting happened on Demetrius, called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report a man was shot. Police arrived on scene and were searching for suspects but were unable to locate the shooter.
Metro said the victim is a black male in his 30s. He was taken to UMC Trauma, where he underwent surgery.
Police said the man was shot in the side, and his injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
