Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The deadline has been reached for voters who wanted to register online.

Team leaders and volunteers from the Clark County Elections Office worked Saturday to get anyone who hadn't registered yet to sign up. They could do it the old fashion way by filling out a paper form or if they had their ID, they could do it online in a matter of minutes.

If people forgot whether they've registered, another computer was used to check people's status and even show their polling location.

These centers around town also helped many voters who ran into issues when trying to register at home.

"I did have a few voters come in here, tried to register at home, the system was jammed up so they were told to try it again. So those voters came down here and we were able to get them in," said James Lea with the Clark County Election Department.

The registration centers are closed now, and so is the ability to register at home online. You now have to go to an Election Department Office to register. The deadline is Oct. 16.
