Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Students at a high-need elementary school received new supplies and money for programs Friday, thanks to team members from Boulder Station.
Staff at Laura Dearing Elementary School were given 75 backpacks full of supplies, even a check for $3,000 from the Boulder Station executive and human resources teams.
Dearing Elementary is Boulder Station's Smart Start Partner. It's a community initiative of Station Casinos to help 11 high-need elementary schools, to help improve the quality of education in the classrooms.
To date, Smart Start has raised more than $2 million for Las Vegas area schools.
