Las Vegas police reaches out to community as it remembers shooting victim

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is joining a community in remembering one of the latest shooting victims in the valley.

Terry Harris was found dead Wednesday morning at an apartment complex near Swenson Street and East Twain Avenue.

LVMPD was back in the neighborhood on Thursday night to reinforce safety to the people who live there.

LVMPD is one of many organizations involved in a program called "Village of Hope," which strives to make a difference in the local community.

Six people have been arrested as part of the murder investigation into the shooting of Terry Harris.
