Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A flight from Las Vegas to Miami was canceled due to a widespread issue of seats popping loose on American Airlines flights.

A spokesperson for McCarran International Airport said the flight was scheduled to leave Las Vegas at 10:40 p.m.

American Airlines has canceled dozens of flights, scrambling to fix seats that could pop loose during flights.

Seats came loose on three recent flights on planes that had been recently refurbished. The seats were removed and reinstalled as part of the overhaul.

The airline said it has come up with a fix, and is making the necessary repairs.
