Home prices continuing to increase in Las Vegas Valley
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- According to the latest data released by CoreLogic, home prices in the Las Vegas area rose by 8.5 percent in August of this year compared to the same time last year.
In addition, prices have increased 2.1 percent in August compared to July 2012.
Nationally, CoreLogic is reporting that home prices have increased 4.6 percent on a year-over-year basis and 0.3 percent from July to August of this year.
Nevada is also among the top five states with the highest home price appreciation, including distressed sales. The other four are Arizona, Idaho, Utah and Hawaii.
