BANANARAMA CONCERT

Tickets: $20
Bananarama is performing at the Hard Coafe Cafe as part of Hard Rock's 13th annual Pinktober campaign. Proceeds from their concert will benefit the Pink Heals Foundation. The band hopes to drive breast cancer awareness to their fans and beyond. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on Ticketweb.com or at the Rock Shop on the Strip.

FAMOUS LAS VEGAS SIGN GOES PINK

The iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign has gone pink through the month of October in recognition of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Local officials flipped the switch on Oct. 4. The Welcome to Las Vegas sign is located on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard and welcomes millions of visitors each year.

TONY N' TINA'S WEDDING

"Tony N' Tina's Wedding" is showing their support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation by donating $40 for each VIP ticket purchased. Just use the promo code BASK. They will also donate $25 for every general admission ticket purchased. Use the promo code AASK. Enjoy an Italian buffet dinner, wedding cake and dancing to great music.

2nd ANNUAL MONSTER BASH
When: 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 18
Where: Valhalla Med Spa, 6804 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The event will feature a DJ, food, prizes and fun. Tickets are $20 with $10 of each ticket sale going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The spa will also be offering its lowest prices of the year during the event.

MADAME TUSSAUDS LAS VEGAS SURVIVOR FAMILY DAY

PINK HALLOWEEN PARTY AT RI RA
When: 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Oct. 27
Where: Ri Ra Irish Pub, The Shoppes at Mandalay Place
The pub will celebrate Halloween with a pink-themed soiree. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best pink costume or dress. To show their support in the fight against breast cancer, party-goers may purchase $10 pink boas throughout the evening. In addition, Rí Rá will feature a specialty cocktail, the Pink Jameson Rose ($8), all day long, in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Various prizes, including a grand prize two-day trip to Los Angeles with flight and accommodations, will be awarded to the best-dressed partiers. Raffle prizes, which include 24 engraved commemorative Guinness® glasses, will also be featured throughout the evening.  Rí Rá’s Pink Halloween Party is free and open to the public.
 
Additionally, the pub will raise funds for the nonprofit by selling pink wristbands and paper ribbon icons throughout the month and donating the proceeds. As an added bonus for locals, anyone presenting a valid Nevada ID when purchasing a Breast Cancer Awareness wristband or paper ribbon on any Friday in October will be entered to win prizes during the Halloween festivities.

BODIES... THE EXHIBITION

Whether it’s a pink shirt, pink tie or a pair of pink socks, BODIES…The Exhibition offers visitors who wear the bright color during the month of October complimentary admission with the purchase of an adult ticket for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However guests wish to display their support, it is the hope that everyone who visits The Exhibition walks away feeling empowered and motivated to create positive lifestyle changes that could help prevent the life-threatening disease.

To receive the discount, print the online coupon from BODIES…The Exhibition’s Facebook or Twitter page, present it to the box office and wear an outwardly visible piece of pink clothing. Regularly priced tickets are $32 for adults, $30 for seniors, $24 for children 4 – 12 years of age and $29 for locals. The Exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with last admission at 9 p.m. It is recommended that children 12 and under are accompanied by a teacher or parent as an adult guide. HUNGRY HOWIE'S PIZZA

Each year, Hungry Howie's Pizza -- the originator of the Flavored Crust Pizza -- has joined the fight against breast caner with their Love, Hope & Pizza campaign. Throughout the month at all participating locations, all pizzas will be served in bright pink boxes emblazoned with breast cancer awareness ribbons instead of the classic Hungry Howie’s yellow boxes the brand usually features. Customers can add a $1 donation to their Hungry Howie’s order, which will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Donators will receive a pink Love, Hope & Pizza wristband bracelet as a token of appreciation.

TATTOO FOR THE CURE

Where: 11th Hour Studio Tattoos, 5825 W. Sahara Ave.
11th Hour Studio Tattoos is offering special breast cancer ribbon tattoos for only $50 each to all cancer survivors, cancer patients and anyone else affected by cancer. A portion of the proceeds of each tattoo will be donated to the local chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Everyone that is tattooed on Oct. 13 during a special event will also receive a $5 discount at the Blue Ox Tavern (must be 21 or older and dine-in only). Tattoo artists will be available that day from noon to 11 p.m. for special breast cancer awareness tattoos.

CAKE FOR THE CURE

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hash House A Go Go will support the many Las Vegans who will be participating in a Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk (www.the3day.org) in one of 13 cities across the U.S.  This year’s fundraising efforts will go to “The Knocker Walkers for Teri’s Tatas” team headed by Las Vegan Carol Broeland, a multiple- year walker.
 
Created by Chef Anthony Vidal, the ‘Cake for the Cure pancake includes the “berry breast” natural ingredients for breast cancer prevention plus their famous batter mixed with a variety of fresh fruits including 2 oz. raspberries; 2 oz. cherries; 2 oz. cranberries, 2 oz. pomegranate and 2 oz. strawberries. In traditional Hash House style, the pancakes are oversized, and even a pinkish hue. For the entire month of October, the restaurants are donating $1 from the sale of every ’Cake for the Cure pancake to the fundraising efforts.

WINDER FARMS STRAWBERRY MILK

Winder Farms will donate 5% of all strawberry milk sales to Susan G. Komen Southern Nevada through Oct. 31.The 16 oz. and half-gallon bottle labels have been changed to feature the iconic pink ribbon to show support.

STATION CASINOS' PROJECT PINK

Station Casinos is hosting its 3rd Annual “Project Pink,” initiative, a month-long community campaign to raise funds for the Southern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, October 1-31 throughout the majority of its properties’ and venues including the Grand Cafes, Mexican restaurants, spas as well as at designated blackjack and poker tables.  In 2011, Project Pink raised nearly $50,000 for the local charity.

Project Pink will offer a variety of “pink” themed products and experiences for purchase in October with proceeds benefit ting the local Susan G. Komen affiliate.
