Car wash held for victims of deep-fryer fire
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- People from the Las Vegas community gathered on Monday for a car wash fundraiser to help a family that lost a mother and father to a devastating fire.
It happened late last month at a home near Maryland Parkway and Hacienda.
Friends and family had gathered at a home for a celebration. A deep fryer that was being used to prepare food was accidentally knocked over on a patio and a fire quickly consumed the home.
On Monday, friends and family were scrubbing cars and accepting donations for the two children that survived the fire.
