Pedestrian hit by car near downtown Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are looking for the driver of a truck or SUV that struck a pedestrian in downtown Las Vegas on Monday.
A passing motorist found a Hispanic adult female lying in the northbound travel lanes of Fremont Street south of Oakey Boulevard at about 7:45 p.m. Oct. 1.
The pedestrian had severe facial trauma and was unresponsive.
The housing for a driver's side mirror and other debris was also lying in the roadway.
The woman was transported to Sunrise Trauma Center with critical injuries. At this time, the woman has not been identified and police are still looking for the driver.
