Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Three schools were locked down for a short time Friday afternoon as police searched for burglary suspects.
The ordeal started when a burglary was reported at a home on Canary Ivy Way, near Carey and Hollywood. The person reporting said four teens tried to enter a home through a window.
Three nearby schools went into lockdown: Bailey Middle School, Hickey Elementary School and Sunrise Mountain High School.
The lockdowns were lifted a short time later after authorities deemed it safe.
Police are still searching for the burglary suspects.
