One man in hospital after crash at Windmill & Jones

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 21-year-old man is in the hospital with significant head injuries after a collision with a beer delivery truck at about 5:47 a.m. Friday morning in the southwest part of the Valley.
According to a spokesperson with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the man was driving eastbound on Windmill Lane when he failed to stop at the intersection at Jones Boulevard.
The driver of the delivery truck was not injured.
Although the injured driver is expected to survive at this time, LVMPD's fatal investigation team was called out due to serious nature of accident.
The injured man was taken to University Medical Center.
