Perpetrator sought in violent sexual assault
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for the man who committed a violent sexual assault on September 1.
Authorities say a 22-year-old woman was attacked near the 3000 block of Joe W. Brown, a few blocks east of Las Vegas Boulevard near Paradise and Desert Inn.
The woman was found by security as she was running down the street barefoot back to her hotel, yelling for help.
She was taken to University Medical Center to be treated for injuries.
Police say the suspect in the attack was captured on video running the opposite direction. Police later obtained surveillance video of the suspect walking on the Strip near the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
He is described as a hispanic man, about 5-feet 7-inches tall, 190 pounds with short hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeved button-down dress shirt over a white T-shirt, black pants and black shoes.
