Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Thursday night in Las Vegas is a special night for 100 women. They are the recipients of a free pair of Crocs shoes and a thank you from Oprah magazine.
The magazine launched a contest called, "Crocs Cares" in which it asked people to share how they would use 100 pairs of Crocs. Las Vegas Amy Frost is a blogger. So she took to her keyboard and explained that she'd like to give them away -- to 100 women who are doing great things in the non-profit world.
Amy said, " I had this crystal clear knowing. I could see faces of amazing women and all these great causes and that I wanted to honor them. There are seven thousand non profits in southern Nevada dong amazing things. There are some Mother Theresas. And they don't want any recognition."
Amy won the contest and worked with her colleagues at the Non Profit Sector Foundation to choose the 100 women they wanted to give Crocs to. For an entire list of those winners, click here.
