Driver hospitalized after crash with school bus
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- One person was hospitalized this morning after a collision with a school bus at the intersection at the intersection of East Burkholder and South Pueblo boulevards in Henderson.
That intersection is located near Basic High School. The bus was transporting students to that school.
According to a spokesperson for the Henderson Police Department, a small white SUV turned in front of the bus.
The bus was unable to stop and hit the SUV, causing it to overturn. The driver was freed from the vehicle by emergency response crews and transported to St, Rose Hospital Siena Campus with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident happened at about 6:40 a.m. this morning.
No one was injured on the bus.
