Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Sentencing has been rescheduled for the man who pled guilty to attempting to rob the Bellagio earlier this year.

24-year-old Michael Belton of Nuevo, Calif., pled guilty in July on charges of robbery and conspiracy.

Belton and another man used pepper spray on a blackjack dealer and then tried to snatch more than $100,000 chips off the table in May of 2012.

Casino employees tackled Belton and prevented him from escaping. However, the other man was able to get away.

He was scheduled to be sentenced in a Las Vegas court this morning.

The court rescheduled the sentencing to Oct. 10, 2012.
