3 arrested in Reno in alleged gang murder plot
RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Reno police say they've arrested three alleged gang members suspected of plotting another alleged gang member's death amid a drug debt.
Authorities say 22-year-old Leon Munera, 24-year-old Ivan Munera and 32-year-old Osvaldo Morales were arrested Monday on charges including conspiracy.
Police say they contacted Morales and Ivan Munera during a traffic stop, where they found guns, drugs and ammunition. Detectives believe the two were going to pick up a third suspect before confronting their victim later that day.
Officials say the driver of the vehicle was a woman who had a 2-year-old and 5-year-old with her in the car at the time. Police say they're still investigating her involvement in the alleged plot.
