Toys 4 Smiles by providing toys to needy kids

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Here is a Universal truth: All kids love toys and all kids deserve toys.

Five-year-old Aaron is a student at Squires Elementary School.  He says, "My favorite thing about getting a new car is that it's exciting.  I feel like keeping it forever."

Thanks to Toys 4 Smiles, he'll get to.  In a warehouse in Las Vegas, volunteers work daily to build toys for kids. They give them away for free.

Rex Doty is one of the group's original founders.  He says, "We really care about children all over the world, but the same children you might see in Africa or Mexico are the same children you see on the other side of Las Vegas boulevard. and we want to take care of them first.  That's our goal."

The wood is donated.  The warehouse was donated too.  But what this group really needs is a permanent home with air conditioning and heat so they can make toys -- and smiles -- year round.  If you can help, contact Rex at Toys 4 Smiles.
