Commercial building catches fire in east Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A two-story commercial building caught fire early Wednesday morning on the east side of the Valley.

Firefighters were called to House Depot on Contract Avenue near Charleston and Mojave just after 3:30 a.m.

When they arrived, smoke and flames were visible from the building.

A spokesperson for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

No injuries were reported in the blaze.

Firefighters estimate the damage at between $50,000 and $100,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
