Togliatti to remain chief of Clark County court
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Clark County District Court Judge Jennifer Togliatti's term as chief judicial administrator of Nevada's busiest trial court has been extended for a second term.
Court spokeswoman Mary Ann Price says other judges unanimously chose Togliatti to head the Las Vegas-based court.
A court statement released Tuesday notes that 13 new judges took the bench during Togliatti's first two-year term.
The court also cut costs but improved phone on-hold time for jury services.
Togliatti was appointed to the district court in May 2002 after serving for almost four years as a Las Vegas justice of the peace.
