Man who killed Faith Love back in court for another DUI charge
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The man who admitted to being intoxicated when he hit and killed a 12-year-old girl last year is once again charged with driving under the influence.
Police say Justin Caramanica was picked up over the weekend after crashing his car into a parked vehicle near Sahara Avenue and Town Center.
And once again, police say that he was under the influence.
Caramanica is being charged with DUI, driving on a revoked license, failure to drive in a marked lane, and no proof of insurance.
He is expected to appear before a judge Tuesday morning on these new charges.
But, he is also awaiting sentencing for the death of 12-year-old Faith Love; the trick-or-treater he hit and killed while driving under the influence last Halloween.
The crashes will be two separate court cases but an Action News analyst says this weekend's crash could impact Caramanica's upcoming sentencing.
Our legal analyst says it's very likely Caramanica's new bail will set at an unattainable amount or that the judge may revoke his previous bail. In that case, he will have to sit in jail until he is sentenced in Faith Love's death.
That sentencing is set to take place Nov. 5,. Caramanica's attorney did not return calls for comment.
