Police looking for couple who beat and robbed employee
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for two suspects who beat and robbed an employee at a business in the area of Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard.
According to the police, a man and woman walked into the business at about 12:10 p.m. Sept. 11, pretending to be customers.
While an employee was showing the male suspect some merchandise, the female suspect attempted to take the employee's purse.
The employee attempted to get her purse back and the male suspect hit the employee several times with his closed fist and knocked her to the ground.
Both suspects then fled the scene of the crime with the purse.
The male suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s, 5-feet 7-inches to 5-feet 9-inches tall, 150-10 lbs., and black hair. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black jacket, black pants and black shoes.
The female suspect is described as a white female, 35 to 39 years old, 5-feet to 5-feet 2-inches tall, and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, washed out, light jeans and black sunglasses.
