Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man awaiting sentencing for the DUI death of a young girl was arrested Saturday night on another DUI charge.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Justin Caramanica was under the influence of an undisclosed drug when he hit a parked car at around 9 p.m. in the area of West Sahara Avenue and South Towne Center Drive.

Caramanica was the only person in the car and no injuries were reported.

Caramanica was arrested last October after he struck and killed 12-year-old Faith Love as she crossed South Sandstone Bluffs Drive at West Wesley Lake Place while trick-or-treating. Police, at the time, charged him with being under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs.

Caramanica is due to be sentenced on Nov. 5 after he agreed to a plea deal with the district attorney's office.
