Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Anti-bullying was the focus of a workshop Saturday in Henderson.
Numerous students took part in "Kidz Matter" at Brandon's ATA, a martial arts facility.
Children learned the importance of standing up to bullies and having confidence in themselves.
One local school counselor said learning how to protect yourself is the most important.
Brandon's ATA will continue to hold classes for students with the focus on anti-bullying classes.
