Driver killed in rollover in Centennial Hills
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One person is dead after a single-vehicle fatal rollover Friday morning in Centennial Hills.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the call around 3:35 a.m. where a woman had been thrown from a vehicle.
The woman was driving a 1996 Honda southbound on Oso Blanca Road just north of Deer Springs when it ran off the roadway onto a shoulder, according to evidence police found on scene.
Police say the car went into a drainage ditch causing the vehicle to roll over.
Police say the woman was not wearing a seat belt. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 86th traffic related fatality Metro has responded to in 2012.
Police say the accident remains under investigation.
