Fugitive killed by task force identified by coroner
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has official identified the man that was killed earlier this week in an officer-involved shooting as 27-year-old Thomas Domagala.
The incident happened about 3 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard in North Las Vegas.
According to the police, Domagala was wanted in Arizona for at least six burglaries since July 2012.
Domagala was attempting to flee a fugitive task force when he was killed by a U.S. marshal.
Domagala was in a car with 26-year-old Tabitha Alvarez and 22-year-old Meggan Lecroy of Arizona.
Domagala, who was armed, was shot after exiting the car driven by Alvarez.
During one of those burglaries, he allegedly pistol-whipped an elderly man.
The women with Domagala were arrested in connection to the escape attempt and booked in the Las Vegas City Jail.
The Associated Press previously reported that the man's name was Thomas Lars Domagala.
