Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A bail of $4 million was set Friday morning for accused drunk driver Gary Lee Hosey, Jr..
Hosey, 23, is the driver that is charged with being under the influence when he slammed into a bus stop last week near the corner of Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard, killing four people.
Las Vegas police say that Hosey was driving eastbound on Spring Mountain at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car.
Police say that Hosey blew a blood-alcohol concentration above the 0.08 legal limit.
Hosey admitted at the scene of the crash that he had drank one beer and that he was speeding to his girlfriend's place because she needed to go to work,.
Hosey's lawyers are disputing that Hosey was drunk.
The complaint released on Thursday by the district attorney's office says that Hosey also tested positive for marijuana.
Hosey's next court date is 8:30 a.m. Oct. 19.
