Police respond to disturbance call involving boxer
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been out of jail for a little over six weeks and he could be headed for trouble once again.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a call about a family disturbance was received at 9:57 p.m. Sept. 9.
Police officers responded to a house located in the 10000 block of Baystone St., near West Silverado Ranch Boulevard and South Decatur Boulevard.
When police officers arrived on scene, they were informed that there had been a verbal altercation between the boxer and the person who made the call. The police officers did not find any evidence of physical violence.
Mayweather had already left and the complaining party did not want to fill out a police report.
LVMPD says that as far as they are concerned, the incident is closed.
